How do I notify the share list of updates

If I post a document in workspace and then share it with some people by putting their email address in there, I can make a comment and send that to the list of people along with their invitation to access the workspace- no problem. But if I add a new document to the workspace, I do not see any place...

Want to make this tool really useful and get a leg-up on the competition? Workspaces needs voice chat. When you log into a workspace, a list of group members and current visiting members should be displayed or made available. Members could have meetings and discuss ideas, problems, opinions, solutions...

Yes I have. Sorry, I forgot to post back. The answer was that it can't be done. You can only open documents that you post from excel, not documents that are shared with you. Thanks.

I wanted my students to have a place to store their assignments in the cloud so, yes, I did have them all create Office Live Workspace Accounts. Then I had them submit some assignments as shared documents so I could comment on them, but I soon saw the error in that approach. Eventually, we got to sharing...

Help w/ Editting

Is there anyway I can view edits in progress on a document I am sharing with another user, or do I need to open the document again to see all the edits and changes? Thanks

The way to do this is to click on the "Shared With Me" tab (on the left side). After you do this you will see a list of all the shared workspace you belong to. You can then choose to either hide it or delete it altogether. Let me know if this worked for you and good luck on your studies!

You can ask the user to uncheck the check button under right notification pane (where it says "send me activity e-mails"). Note though that this option works globally, that is the user won't receive any notifications at all from any workspace. On the other hand we try to limit the number...

Yes, I did finally discover where you can get to other workspaces. After you click on the toolbar button for Open and Sign In, click Cancel in the Open dialog box. Click AGAIN on the toolbar button for Open, and now you will see that instead of Sign In, it should show your username, a Sign Out link,...
