Re: PDF ~ Adobe
At the top of the workspace there is a button called "Add Document" if you click on that you can add a PDF by selecting it from your local file system.

Re: Deleting workspace
If you're referring to the "Documents" workspace then you can't rename it or delete it. It is a special type of workspace where you can keep single documents and share them directly; for other workspaces you share the whole workspace and all documents within.

Important: Provide selection of more than one item in the Workspace for sharing with the Editors or Reviewers, without opening each document in preview mode, and then selecting the "Share Document" Item in the "Share" list..
Before you begin Login to Microsoft Office Live Workspace Click on the Workspace on the left pane , to view the list of all the documents. Scenario Under the New , Add Document , Delete , Move and Share menu, the following column heading are displayed: Check box(icon) Page (icon) Name Shared (icon) Modified...

Can .html files still not be moved or deleted?
Is anyone working on the problem of not being able to move or remove .HTML files? At the very least this file type should not be allowed to be uploaded. We try to “train” people to move away from using emails all the time and many times we start a workspace with a saved email from Outlook and this usually...

Attaching a Workspace file to an Outlook email
I have been unable to attach a document stored in workspace to an Outlook email. I'm using 2007. I click the "paper clip," navigate to the workspace, and click on the document. The dialog box goes away but nothing happens. Help! JB

Re: Missing Edit Button--Not using FireFox
Nathan, check out this post, especially the part on persistent cookies: http://officeliveworkspacecommunity.com/forums/p/388/1270.aspx We had one team member experience what sounds like the same issue you're having, and it was solved once she made sure she went in and completely signed out of another...

Re: author cannot edit his own work on another computer
Steve, here is one more thing we didn't discuss that might be an issue for you: file format. Is it possible that you created the document you wish to edit in Office 2007, the default format of which is a ".xlsx" file -- and then attempted to edit that default format file in an earlier version...

Re: author cannot edit his own work on another computer
Hi Steve! Have you got it working yet? If you have author permissions in a workspace, you can save those documents to your desktop, and open and edit independently of the doc saved to the workspace -- but one of the great features of the workspace is that you can have several people collaborate on a...

Re: Sending AutoUpdates
An update when a change has been made in a workspace is a great idea -- though you wouldn't want to have it for every time the document is saved. I'd vote for the earlier of when the user who made the change signs out (sending an alert to all who have shared privileges) or at some predetermined...

Re: How collaborative is this?
I couldn't agree more with John. We tried Google Docs, and in concept I really like it. In practice, it has a looooooonnng way to go. When I had the opportunity to setup a workspace here, I jumped on it; we've moved everything over from Google Docs, and with a couple of exceptions, I like this...
