Is there anyway I can view edits in progress on a document I am sharing with another user, or do I need to open the document again to see all the edits and changes? Thanks

Re: Important: Disable the "Edit" icon in OLW, when document is being edited in Microsoft Office application.
Hi Challa, Can you help me with a similar problem? I am unable to edit a powerpoint presentation. I have tried one of two options: (1) I have opened power point 2003 (with workspace add on feature), log onto shared PPT document and failed repeatedly to load document. (2) I have loged onto OLW and opened...

Workspace beta permissions and access
Hi. Let me see if I can word this in a way that makes sense. I'm trying to set up a workspace to use with my business. I want to have a space where potential contractors that I may work with can access, download, and print Agreements, Spec Sheets, and Templates. So I have a workspace named "Agreements...

Re: How to collaborate with Office Live?
If you want each of the users to be able to edit the documents then yes, a Live ID is required. On the other hand if some of them would only read the contents then they do not need to sign up - just select " Let everyone view this without signing in" option when sharing with the editors and...

Re: Add a Print document button!
Okay, this may be a REALLY stupid question, but how do you open a workspace file in Word, Excel or Powerpoint? I don't see an option for doing that. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. I created a note for an interview I'm going on and want to print it without copying and pasting into Word...

Provide "Spell checker" for creating acceptable notes.

Re: author cannot edit his own work on another computer
Thank dmcknight, I was having the same problem and tried all of your suggestions to Steve and finally I can edit too! I think my problem was either due to using Firefox, or having multiple WindowsLive accounts signed in at once. My shared project will now be much easier to work on!

Re: editing docs "IN" workspace
Thanks for this response. I hadn't tried sharedview, and just downloaded it to try it out. You point out some good items to address the online editing and collaboration within OLW. While there appears to be several ways to collaborate, what still seems to be missing is that all members of a project...

PDF Preview
PDF previews are currently shown as images of each page in the document. It would be great if you could give the HTML view or just let the Acrobat plugin opne up the document. This way, you could copy text from the document. Thanks.
