At the top of the workspace there is a button called "Add Document" if you click on that you can add a PDF by selecting it from your local file system.

Steve, here is one more thing we didn't discuss that might be an issue for you: file format. Is it possible that you created the document you wish to edit in Office 2007, the default format of which is a ".xlsx" file -- and then attempted to edit that default format file in an earlier version...

Hi Steve! Have you got it working yet? If you have author permissions in a workspace, you can save those documents to your desktop, and open and edit independently of the doc saved to the workspace -- but one of the great features of the workspace is that you can have several people collaborate on a...

I couldn't agree more with John. We tried Google Docs, and in concept I really like it. In practice, it has a looooooonnng way to go. When I had the opportunity to setup a workspace here, I jumped on it; we've moved everything over from Google Docs, and with a couple of exceptions, I like this...

Can the Comments pane be permanent?
I have a couple of questions about adding comments to a workspace or file. Is there anyway that the comments pane (right hand side in my template when I click on comments) can just be displayed all the time? I would like for anyone who views a workspace or document to be able to see the comments written...
