Steve, here is one more thing we didn't discuss that might be an issue for you: file format. Is it possible that you created the document you wish to edit in Office 2007, the default format of which is a ".xlsx" file -- and then attempted to edit that default format file in an earlier version...

I've both deleted cookies and rebooted. Still no success. Is there anything I can do to get my computer to ask me to run the proper Active X controls. Thanks for your efforts so far. Steve

One regular issue we've run into for editing is persistent cookies. If on the other computer, you or someone else logged into something with a Windows Live ID, but never actually logged out, you'll still have cookies from that session active that send incorrect information to the server. So,...
