I couldn't agree more with John. We tried Google Docs, and in concept I really like it. In practice, it has a looooooonnng way to go. When I had the opportunity to setup a workspace here, I jumped on it; we've moved everything over from Google Docs, and with a couple of exceptions, I like this...

Hi rgusaas... From what I can tell, if you are using a "known application" (e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint) then there is an automatic checkout feature whenever someone opens the document for editing from within Workspace. But I don't know of anyway to "checkout" a document for...
