Steve, here is one more thing we didn't discuss that might be an issue for you: file format. Is it possible that you created the document you wish to edit in Office 2007, the default format of which is a ".xlsx" file -- and then attempted to edit that default format file in an earlier version...

I couldn't agree more with John. We tried Google Docs, and in concept I really like it. In practice, it has a looooooonnng way to go. When I had the opportunity to setup a workspace here, I jumped on it; we've moved everything over from Google Docs, and with a couple of exceptions, I like this...
