I have not experienced these problems. I am running Vista Enterprise and Office 2007 with IE 7. OLW loads fine for me nor have I experienced freezing. There are more features needed but I am very pleased with this BETA product thus far.

Save file from List page
Uploading some of Office's lesser document types in a workspace works fine. However, if there is no viewer then you have to click each file to be able to save the file to disk. I.E. Add 4 faxes that have been scanned with Office Document Imaging - .mdi files. Even though you can check the 4 files...

It's barely usable. I tried from work and I've tried on my home machine, it's worthless to me. It takes forever to load and then it freezes all the time. I love the concept, but it's not ready for prime time. I'll have to check out Google doc's. Thanks!

My Experience
I have historically been a Google Docs user and have been fairly happy with my experience with Office Live. I love having Microsoft Office so tightly integrated with Office Live. It makes working on Documents on multiple PCs very convenient (the best solution I have used, thus far). I have one complaint...

I can't login in Office
Hi everyone! I signed up for Office Live Workspace and I can login from the browser and everything works fine there. Just the Office Live Workspace connector is not really working. I get a sign in prompt and I enter my login information. Then again a sign in prompt is popping up and I'll have to...

Are my Uploaded Workfiles in OLW Backed up since it is BETA?
What is the process currently used to insure that we do not lose any of our currently uploaded work files? Am I at risk of the chance of losing all my files if the system has a mishap? Should I be keeping a backup copy of the files I have posted? It is always safer to have a backup copy...

Currently I am working for a school. It would be great to see the students and teachers use Microsoft Office Live Workspace anywhere, anytime. It could minimize distraction, increase class-time and productivity, and be cost effective. Way to go, thank you for all your hard work. ~ Eboots
