Video and Voice
Want to make this tool really useful and get a leg-up on the competition? Workspaces needs voice chat. When you log into a workspace, a list of group members and current visiting members should be displayed or made available. Members could have meetings and discuss ideas, problems, opinions, solutions...

Re: What will be the history and revision status, when a shared document - reviewers and Editors - has been soft deleted?
The revision and history of the document can be got back if you restore the document back into the workspace. Also the sharees (editors and viewers) of your workspace can see that the document was deleted since the deletion activity shows up in the activity pane on the right panel.

Activity Pane - Default OFF?
I'm finding it very annoying that the activity pane comes on every time I touch something in the workspace. Seems to me the default for that pane should be OFF, not ON. I'm the only user of my workspace (so far) and I really don't need it popping up all the time. Does anyone know a workaround...

Re: Activity pane
Currently there is no way to close activiy pane by default. Its intent is to keep you updated with notification of changes that happens to your workspace or documents, including new comments being added, files created etc. Thanks, Ajoy

Activity pane
Hello all, Every time I switch to another Workspace I have to close the Activity pane on the right of my screen. Is there an option to keep it closed by default? I don't want to see this information every time. Thanks in advance for any reply. Marco.

Re: Activity pane doesn't refresh
As Marek said, this behavior is by design. We are considering supporting asynchronous updates to the activity pane in a future release so that we can avoid the refresh. Thanks for the feedback! Avi L

Re: Activity pane doesn't refresh
This is by design, to reduce the data load needed for synchronization. If you go to a different workspace and later switch back the activity pane will be updated.

Activity pane doesn't refresh
I've just noticed that when I save a doc in Office then anyone viewing that doc in OLW sees a refresh of it. However, the activity pane doesn't refresh. Is this a bug or by design? Thanks jamie

Re: How much history in activity pane?
Hi Jamie, You are correct -- there is no history of updates to existing files because we didn't keep track of activity before the pane was implemented. While there is no life-time for activities, we currently only display the 100 most recent events. Thanks, Avi L
