Yes I have. Sorry, I forgot to post back. The answer was that it can't be done. You can only open documents that you post from excel, not documents that are shared with you. Thanks.

I have several excel files in my workspace; when I hover over a file I get the 4 options: View, Open in Excel, Share and rename. everytime I select Open with excel NOTHING HAPPENS!! What's wrong?

Transfer of Excel macros upon download

Hi, I'm David, a moderator for the Japanese site. We have a user who after has downloaded an Excel file from Workspace and has a chart viewed using a "camera" function. He finds that he cannot register macros in that file properly. Apparently, the titles of several macros have been changed...

Yes with OL Workspace, sorry if that was unclear. I have no problem with Excel on the desk, just when I upload a file it strips data. Can't view the file using Workspace. Then after any Excel file is uploaded the original has been stripped of any data. Word and other files I have no problem with...

Does not update Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) content in Word document under Offce Live Workspace.

Scenario When you copy a range of cells from Microsoft Excel , and paste those cells in to the Microsoft Word document , using the Paste Special command, under the Edit menu, the Workspace live Word document does not update the link information , when the changes are made in the Microsoft Excel source...

Is it recomended to load Microsoft Excel Workbooks in Workspace that have no references -Abosulte and Relative- to other Workbooks.
