Re: Office live limitations
Thanks for your feedback. You're right that Office 2000 is not supported, but just to be clear, Office Live Workspace supports Office XP, 2003, or 2007 for editing documents, as described on this page: http://workspace.officelive.com/LearnMore If you are using FireFox, then the Edit button will not...

Re: Cannot Add Document from Computer to Workspace (mac os x)
I also upload my word files from Leopard and Vista - it works well for me. I am currently using Leopard 10.5.2 build, Macbook 2.4 Ghz and Firefox 3 beta 5 build and Office Live Workspace works well.

Re: author cannot edit his own work on another computer
Thank dmcknight, I was having the same problem and tried all of your suggestions to Steve and finally I can edit too! I think my problem was either due to using Firefox, or having multiple WindowsLive accounts signed in at once. My shared project will now be much easier to work on!

Re: 1st Guy I tried to share with was a Mac user ;"(
I know to some users it might seem strange that MS would support Firefox and not Safari (at least not yet), but there is often a practical reason for this. Firefox has the largest cross platform penetration out there -- so generally speaking, things you get to work on Firefox for the PC should also ...

Re: Can't Delete a Document >> Still
Hi Art, Are you able to consistently repro this issue? Item/workspace deletion IS supported in FireFox. If you are consistently reproing the issue, we'd like to know about it. If you can help provide some information regarding the type of document you tried to delete, perhaps the date/time you tried...

Re: Can't Delete a Document >> Still
My problem was that I was using FireFox Browser not IE. This is a killer I don't want to use IE. I want to use FireFox. Ms. Dewy tell me when Office Live supports FireFox. :-))

Re: No "edit" and No Office Document Capability
Hi, The most common cause for users not seeing the "edit" option is that they are using Firefox. Internet Explorer has the ability to connect with the Office installed on your machine and launch the appropriate app. Firefox can't do this without using additional plugins. We realize that...

Re: Firefox
Harry, This is known limitation. Here is snip from one of previous posts: "It is true that the "Edit in XXX" feature only appears in IE, not in Firefox. This is due to the fact that Firefox does not have the ability to allow a web page to connect with the installed applications on your...

Firefox
I just tried it out in Firefox (looks good!) however the "Edit" button is not there. Is there a reason for this? Will it be enabled in a future release? Or is it just an oversight that it's missing?
