  • Re: Allowing .mdb files.

Hi Julie, Thank you for passing on this request. Unfortunately, at this time we can't give access to .MDB files to be uploaded in to the service because of security concerns. Although we would like to give the ability to host a wide variety of file types, an equally, if not more, important part of...

  • Confused about Office Live Small Business

Do I have to create a new account to use the Small Business? I cannot find a way to access it after signing into Office Live Workspace. When I tried to sign up it said my email address already existed in an account to sign in, however, I was never given an option to sign into anything but the Workspace...
  • Allowing .mdb files.

Hi, I'm Julie and I'm one of the French-language OLW moderators. One of our users has a suggestion with regards to Access files, the majority of which he understands are not permitted for security reasons. Here's his original request: http://fr.myofficelivecommunity.com/discuss/forums/p/4242...
  • More Than 100 Guests

I am considering using OLW for posting of a schedule I am responsible for. My concern is the limit of 100 guests as I currently have 350 people that would be viewing the schedule. Does anyone know if the 100 guests is per email or if that is a total allowed number of guests? I was hoping to be able to...
  • Re: Windows Live & Office Live

Hi RTSMT, The best way to create a shortcut to office live on your computer is to right click the desktop (or in any folder in explorer), new --> shortcut. For the location, type in http://workspace.office.live.com and click next. In the next field, change the name to Office Live Workspace, and click...

  • Windows Live & Office Live

I have a desktop icon for a URL to my Windows Live login. It shows my two Windows Live accounts that I can select and then it takes me to an account type page. I see no way from there to go to my Office Live Workspace? I can get to my Office Live Workspace via my MS Word toolbar for Open Office Live...

  • Connection to the server is temporarily unavailable. Try again later.

Have been experiencing the above message for the last few days. VERY FUSTRATING Site worked perfectly last week, managed to load documents and share with users. Able to access load files via Word, Excel etc; but unable to actually get onto the site. Any ideas?

  • Can't log in from one PC "There is a problem with this website's security certificate"

On one PC I use (Windows Vista Ultimate) I get the blocking screen with the title "there is a problem with this website's security certificate" when I try to log on. The text says that it is recommended not to proceed but I cannot see any way to ignore this warning or bypass it. The only...

  • Re: Using Access with Workspace Live

Hi vle, My understanding is that using Access files on Workspace would present a security issue. If the data you want to post can be ordered in table forum, one fix might be to simply copy it and paste it into an Excel file, which could then be uploaded to Workspace. Alternatively, you could share the...

  • Re: How do you transfer ownership?

One reason for changing ownership is having as Office Live Id an email address that is no longer valid. I have recently changed my Windows Live Id - that I use to access my Office Live workspace - to a new email address. I can log in my Office Live Workspace with the new Id, but I cannot access the stored...
