Trouble editing an Excel file

I have uploaded several excel files to OLW.  However, when I open the document in OLW I get this message:"A read-only preview of your document appears below. To view or edit a version with full functionality, open the document in its original application."  I would like to be able to edit the files straight from OWL.  Is this not possible?

BTW I am using Excel 2003.

Hi,

Currently, we do not support the editing of Office files right within OLW. However, if you do open a document on OLW using the Office application, you can make changes and just hit Save. The changes will be directly saved back to the OLW workspace from which you opened the document.  You don't have to upload or make a copy to have this functionality.
