Very important: Provide a progress bar adjacent to each worksapce, so that user can know the document items size - randomly shown during runtime - the Workspace can accomodate.

Before you begin

  1. Login to Microsoft Office Live Workspace

Scenario:

Assume that I have 5 Workspaces, how will I know the capacity of each workspaces, and the amount of space remaing in these Workspace. This will help the user to know well in advance about what file size could be uploaded in which workspace.

Suggestion

Provide progress bar adjacent to each workspace. For example, if there is only one Workspace, the Progress bar can show 100% availability. Assuming that there are 5 workspaces,  each workspace can show progress bar based on the size of the number of items within each workspace.

Hi Challa,

I think that there might be some confusion.  Your total filesize quota is based on the total size of files/items across all workspaces.  In other words, your remaining quota is the same for any given workspace.  You can choose to have 10 workspaces where one workspace uses 99% of your quota.

There are other limits you might be running into, such as total # of items allowed in a workspace but that is not based on the size of the items.
