What will be the history and revision status, when a shared document - reviewers and Editors - has been soft deleted?

Before you begin

  1. Login to Microsoft Office Live Workspace
  2. Click on the "To do Workspace" on the left pane, to view the following documents:
  3. Click on the Share list and choose Share Workspace.
  4. In the "Editors" and "Viewers" text boxes, enter email addresses for sharing the Workspace.
  5. Click on the "Send" button to share the document

Question

if I delete a shared document - Reviewers and Editors- from my workspace, what will happen to the history and the revision status of that shared document. How will the user come to know the current document which is being shared has been soft deleted - although the document is still available in the Deleted folder.?

The revision and history of the document can be got back if you restore the document back into the workspace. Also the sharees (editors and viewers) of your workspace can see that the document was deleted since the deletion activity shows up in the activity pane on the right panel.
