I use the workspace to shares any type of file with friends instead of the Messenger shared folder.
Messenger shared folder lack the functionality that any1 can post and files be posted without both parties be online.
Also, different workspaces can be shared with different people, I got 1 for my friends, and 1 for my fiancee, and neither can view the other's. they dont even know that other workspaces exist except what they are allowed to view. WELL DONE MICROSOFT!
