Using Office Live Workspace for class and project files

I have a dual-function position where I'm both an IT consultant and a training instructor.  I've just started using OLW for sharing class files with my students where they can access the files we've worked on after the class is over.  I train not just Office but Crystal Reports, .NET and PHP programming, and other IT courses.  It's nice that I can upload non-Office files for my students.

(While I understand the need to block certain file extensions, it was a little off-putting at first.  However, being able to upload a zip file is an acceptable workaround, and saves space to boot.)

It's terrific that I can create a workspace for each class, and then share its contents with only those students.  Feedback thus far has been positive.

While I haven't yet starting sharing project files with my consulting clients, I'm already imagining how this will be extremely useful, and plan to start doing so soon.
