Why “Microsoft Office Live Workspace” is a great Product

Remember Microsoft Binder and then thin Microsoft Office Live Workspace.
I recollect the days when I used to work on Microsoft Binder - a great application that used to store Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power point all in one application. You could off course organize any way you would love to categorize. Today I imagine Microsoft Office Workspace as a step forward with having many binders - Workspace - integrated with unified communication and collaboration - which is the need of the hour.
Using Confluence and Microsoft Office Live Workspace
It is far better than any other application I have used. Be it Confluence or Wikipedia. Why?
- When you work on "Confluence” you need to refrain your document. What I mean is even a simple bitmap file type have to be saved once again ina different format like Jif or gif to store it in to the Confluence space. This means you are redoing the same document one for Microsoft Word and the other for Confluence. Your whole effort is wasted and all your productivity skills are just wasted in no time. For instance, if your have an Installation guide of 50 images in bitmap format, if you have open and save these format again.
- You cannot move your PDF files for editorial or review purposes to and fro every time using email, because it occupies a lot of storage space on either of the location. It also becomes difficult to maintain version control.
- To be realistic "Microsoft Office Life Workspace" saves lot of energy, time and value for Money. And I can work from home, or during travel.
Important: I can also show a corporate PowerPoint presentation across different location or share my workspace to show different presentation at the same time for different audience - which is possible today.
