Unable to complete sign-up after receiving 'Workspace is Ready' e-mail

I get a different message, but the result is essentially the same.   It seems you may have not unblocked me yet.  This message has been coming up ever since I got the workspace available e-mail.  My e-mail is watkins12aa@hotmail.com

Can you double check and make sure that you are not entering in your live id under "check availability"? That will not complete sign-up. You have to hit the "sign-in" button which will then prompt you to enter in your Live ID to complete sign-up.

Thanks for looking into this with us.  Yes, I am signing in and using the proper LiveID.  We are getting all the way to where we need to "Accept" the terms and conditions.  It would be cool to have you WLMessenger with me and view my desktop as I go through the steps.  =)  Do you think it matters that the Window Live ID Sign In Assistant is used???

 I have the same issue  like other people

after I receive the e-mail and then follow the instruction ( I click sing in ) but  I get this message :

We are unable to complete signing up for Microsoft Office Live at this time. Please click the Back button and try again later 

so can you check for me this issue

After reading all the post on this today I'm glad I didn't get a note yet.  I'm sure they'll work it all out and we have to be patient for the moment.  I did enable the thread so I can follow it through.  Good luck everyone.  Lady J

 I suppose we do have to wait, but I got a "Do not miss out..." message last week and it looks like I may not be allowed to finish registration through no fault of my own.  On 12/10/07 they posted that they were unblocking the ones who received the finish registration e-mails, but couldn't.  I has been much longer that the few days promised and I still can't complete registration.

I noted on the page where you enter your LiveID, there is a section to enter the characters (usually illegible), but there are no characters to enter, nor a box in which to enter them.

No box even to refresh that section.  Have you tried refreshing the whole page yet to see if it resends the information?  Lady J

Good point, but I'm definitely not entering my Live ID under "check availability". Click here for a short one-minute screencast of me attempting to complete sign-up.

I am having the same problem as well.  It tells me my workspace is ready and when I sign on it says it is NOT ready and I will be notified, which I was notified and that is why I was trying to sign in and get started.  Can you please check and see what is going on??  I'd greatly appreciate all your help and would love to start on this yesterday.
