Editing Documents in Mac Environment?

Running Office Live Workspace on Mac OS X 10.5.2 and Mozilla FireFox 5.0 and not able to edit uploaded documents.  Have Office:mac 2008 installed. 

Downloaded olconnector.msi from the Live Add-In tools to enable this feature, but it's reading it as a Quicktime file and, therefore, not installing it as it thinks its a movie file.

Any suggestions on how to fix this and be able to edit documents?
