Office Live

I'm currently not using it. My experience with Microsoft Live has not been a good one. I needed to download the program for an important company internet meeting. I downloaded the program but it also required me to download a certain version of java. I downloaded the required java version but it still asked me to download the same version of java. I checked in the internet options (and manage add-ons as was suggested and the java was already enabled). I tried using an earlier version of internet explorer, that didn't work either. I ended up missing the meeting and now I can no longer access certain government websites that are java dependant. It looks as though I am going to have to get our computer department involved.

Re: Office Live

Hi Jerry,

Can you provide more information about your experience?

Office Live Workspace does not require you to ever use Java.  In fact, you don't have to download anything if you just want to use the service in the browser.

Please go to http://officelive.com and sign up for an Office Live Workspace account and let us know what your experience is.
