I have been trying for weeks to sign up for Live workspaces but I constantly get an error page. I am asked to sign in as I already have a live ID and then I get the following:
We're sorry, Microsoft Office Live has encountered an
unexpected problem in processing your request.
Please try one of the following:
- Please check the Address bar to ensure that you have entered the correct
URL.
- Use your browser's Back button to try another link.
- Go to Microsoft Office Live
Home and work on another task if the service you are requesting is
temporarily not available.
- If you continue to encounter this problem or want assistance, please contact us.
Now I KNOW Im not alone here, and even Microsoft support replicated this and said they couldnt fix it for me either (but confrmed that they didnt have to give me the "delete your cookies email again)
Why are thousands of potential visitors to this site not given a message explaining that there is a problem, rather than being expected to waste their time and many hours of support time in letting support staff reset their live ID passwords, only to replicate and then not fix the issue?
Can somebody explain what is wrong here, and why there is no acknowledgement of a problem with sign up?
