After being invited to install Office Live Update, I saved the setup.exe file and when I ran it, it downloaded a number of files (3, I think), but then failed to install with, showing the following message.

"The following updates were not installed:

 - Windows Vista update (KB 948531)

- windows Live Sign-in Assistant

- Office 2007 update (KB 941637)"

Any suggestions?

I did and had about 6 emails back and forth to no avail. Ended up the only solution they could give was uninstalling Office 2007 and reinstalling. Which looses all your personal settings, emails, contacts, etc. Even if you back all that up, half the time you cannot import and come out the way it was originally. My experience anyhow with reinstalling Office 2007. Did it on a harddrive crash that I had only backed up personal setting, emails, and contacts. Then for some reason could not import the settings from Office 2007, only old settings from Office 2003 or before. So totally lost everything.
