How do you transfer ownership?

I am just wondering how you transfer ownership of a workspace. This would be a useful feature if it has not yet been implemented. I didn't notice until I linked 2 of my Live ID accounts and I lost permissions. I understand that only one ID can have owner permissions but my other ID is the one I would like to use.

Re: How do you transfer ownership?

Hi Ari, This is indeed a good question and a very valid scenario. We are aware of current limitations with both the linked IDs and the transfer of ownership and are working to support that feature better in the future.

That being said, can you help me understand a bit better what your rationale behind changing ownership was?

Re: How do you transfer ownership?

One reason for changing ownership is having as Office Live Id an email address that is no longer valid.

I have recently changed my Windows Live Id - that I use to access my Office Live workspace - to a new email address.
I can log in my Office Live Workspace with the new Id, but I cannot access the stored files. Saving a new file will still show Modified by the old user ID.
How can I have the Windows Id change reflected in Office Live?

Changing WLID is a known issue. We are working to solve this so you can make that switch without worrying about it.

I'm sorry this doesn't solve your problem today, but it is on our list.
