Re: changing sign in information

fnoss, you do not need to update anything within OLW after an email change to my knowledge. The email address your Live ID is setup for is the email we'll send activity mails to. Are you seeing something different?

To view and update your profile (email is not a field you can edit), hover over one of the workspaces you own and a menu will appear after a few seconds and you'll see an 'edit profile' link.

The e-mail I sign in with (the one I used to register originally) is no longer my e-mail address.  How can I change that so that I can receive notifications from OLW?

Re: changing sign in information

Did you create a new LiveID for your new email or did you change the email address for the original LiveID? If you are unsure, here are two sanity checks:

  • If you created a new LiveID, you would have been given a new workspace account without any of your previous data.
  • If you changed the email address for your original LiveID, your old data should have been accessible to you.

If you changed the email address associated with the original LiveID (Second bullet above), your new email address should be used for activity mails. If you aren't receiving mails any longer, we may need to get support involved.
