As far as I can tell, Office Live is for Office 2007 or later documents, if you want to edit the documents.
This is one small, but very clear explanation of why Microsoft is having problems catching Google in the area of Internet presence.
If MS wants more ad clicks, do everything possible to attract more people/users.
I havn't done the survey, but I've got to believe the numbers of Office 2K users are still very high.
I use Office 2K extensively. I've just recently moved into online access of some of these docs.
I'm sure it's the way of the future. The small business (and personal) network for documents is simply evolving from LAN to WAN,
the same place enteprise companies have been for many years.
Poor decision making on MS' part. Their announced primary focus is ad/internet presence.
Stick to this focus, don't worry about new Office 2007 sales, get the job done, make smart, productive decisions.
