I have been sent an office live workspace link and when I click on it I get a logon window.  The link does not take me to the workspace. I am not the only one in our group experiencing this problem. However another member of our group can access no problem from the same link.  My browser is IE 7 and I have MS Office 2007 installed.

Today, URLs change depending on the sharing model, so there is a good possibility that the link that you have is no longer valid.

A quick fix to try is to have the owner of the workspace remove you from the sharing and then add you again. This way, you'll get a new email with the link.

 Try it out and let me know if it worked.

I had a similar problem. Sometimes I am not able to access my Office Live workspace. I always got the a standard page where I can register to Office Live or goto to the Office Live link. Both links redirected me to the same standard page again and again:

Now I found the simple reason why this sometimes happens!

I have some linked Live accounts. If an account is "active" which is not registered at Office Live you can't access the workspace.

Maybe an error message that indicates this will be useful for users.

What about GoogleDocs? ;-)

Since yesterday I am not able to login to my OL workspace using FF2. The site just hangs. Using IE7 it works. Hm ...

I also recognized that the "Edit" button is not visible if read-only displaying an office document (e.g. Word, Excel) when using FF2. But the button is visible and works for IE7. Maybe there are technical reasons why OL has different behavior on other browsers than IE...

I am using GoogleDocs + Office Live. There are advantages and disadvantages on both sides. (e.g. I am using my Pocket PC to access GoogleDocs Mobile)

Since OL is still in beta I am sure (I hope!!) that OL will be improved ;-)
