I cannot open or save to a Workspace from the office button menu in an office program. l am using Windows Vista SP1 Ultimate Edition and Microsoft Office 2007 SP1 Ultimate Edition.
I attempted to install the Update 1.1 but it failed when it could not install a required update while Internet Explorer 8 Beta was installed. After uninstalling Internet Explorer 8 Beta, the required update and Update 1.1 successfully installed.
'Open-' and 'Save to Workspace' appear in the Office 2007 menu and I'm able to sign in with my Windows Live ID. However, no documents are listed in the open menu; clicking on 'open' or 'save' only launches a dialog box to open/save to the local machine.
Others have reported the same symptoms while components of Visual Studio are installed but I do not have Visual Studio installed.
