Storage Space and Backup Options

Hello!  Would anyone from the Microsoft development team be able to answer a few questions for me about Office Live?

What happens if we need more space than the allotted 500 MBs?  Can this be expanded (even at a cost)?

How does our company backup the data we have stored on Office Live?  And/or can it be "downloaded" for backup?

Thank you in advance.  :)

Re: Storage Space and Backup Options

I am not alone. Thank you!!

Having the same questions and wishes according to backup.

It is not that I do not trust Office Live but I feel better when having a backup because I invested a lot of time to create workspaces, documents, task lists etc.

BTW: Isn't the default amount of storage for Windows Live ID owners 2 GB? Ups... just looked at my SkyDrive: 5 GB! I assume that this store is also used by Office Live?

Re: Storage Space and Backup Options

Same here. Currently looking around at project collaboration tools and the instant problem with have with web services like Office Live is backup, restore of corrupt documents (it will happen) and security. I work in the pharmaceutical business and these are key issues when we work with our clients.

Now if the Office Live platform was available as a product which we could install and manage on our own servers, then that would be a much better solution.

I like the look of the product and the integration with Office is a welcome feature.

Cheers, Rob.
