Thanks to all who pre-registered for the Office Live Workspace beta! We’ve had an extraordinary number of pre-registrations since we announced the product at the beginning of October. Naturally, we’ve received many inquiries from people about when the beta will go live. Here’s a quick update.
The service is in alpha-testing now; we have over 1000 people internally and externally using Workspace and giving us valuable feedback. Based on this, we’re working hard to fine-tune the system and resolve some final kinks before we start letting pre-registrants from the US into the beta in batches in the next few weeks or so.
Our goal is to gather as much initial feedback as we can to optimize the user experience before opening the service up to the world.
